EIHTAA's work doesn't stop at promoting destinations. We believe tourism is about people first, and we regularly step in — as a community, not just a trade association — wherever our districts need support.
From disaster relief to education drives, these programmes reflect what EIHTAA stands for: humanity alongside hospitality.

Amphan – Sundarban Relief (2020)
In the aftermath of Cyclone Amphan, EIHTAA reached out to the people of the Sundarbans as a community that cares — sharing food and support with those who lost the most.
EIHTAA Foundation Day
Every 5th September, coinciding with Teachers' Day, EIHTAA distributes notebooks, books and educational material to children from underprivileged families.
Local Livelihood Support
Working with homestays, guides and artisans in tribal and rural districts so tourism income reaches those who make the experience possible.
Cultural Preservation
Supporting local folk performances, crafts and traditions that might otherwise fade as districts modernise.
